A well-loved paperback lay open, its pages catching the breeze that danced off the fan's blades. A tiny radio, nestled on the table's edge, whispered out the smooth sounds of classical music. Each rhythmic tilt of the fan's head sent a ripple across the room, a gentle conductor of this haven within the old brick house – a symphony of quiet contentment.
